Well, it’s that time of year again, football
registration.
It has been determined by the Tri-County League that the year
will start 2 weeks later. Our first practice will be on July 28th.
Late sign ups and equipment handout will be on Saturday, July
19th. Junior Varsity and Varsity equipment hand outs will be
at 9:00am. Super Lights and Lightweight equipment hand outs will be
at 11 am.
The registration form found here on our website can be
filled out, as well as the picture release forms, prior to your
arrival to hopefully speed up the registration process. The
following information will be filled in by the staff: level of play,
sizing of various equipment and uniforms, and weigh ins required for
the boys.

We welcome and extend
our gratitude to all of our head coaches, they work very hard all
season long.
We do have quite a few changes this year in our
by-laws. Some of these are pertaining to the 5 play rule, an issue
that we had a few problems with last year. Hopefully with the new
by-laws in place this will no longer be an issue. These changes can
be found in the Newsletter section of the website.
The
Wilmington Jr. Football and Cheerleading Organization exists for the
benefit of the children of this and nearby communities. We are a
non-profit organization made up of dedicated people who volunteer
thier time and effort to helping these children. We are all here for
the same reason, to teach these children the fundamentals of the
game as well as how to interact with their teammates and coaches.
And to learn to enjoy the game so they will be willing to return
year after year. Only then will they be able to excel in the sport
and progress into higher levels.
We are always looking for dedicated individuals to help-out. Whether you wish to help with coaching, concessions, cleaning or maintaining our wonderful facility or, if you desire to get more involved with the organization as well, we are always searching to find good people to help with the children of this great community.
